Tourist stays increased by 13% over the previous year in the Agadir region. The Agadir Regional Tourism Council recorded over 4.5 million overnight stays by tourists in the 10 months of January to October 2018, up from 4 million overnights during the same period in 2017, increasing by 13 percent. Morocco Amends Law on Banned Plastic Bags, Adds Measures for Seizure

The government introduced amendments to the law banning plastic bags. Moroccan consumption of the raw material used in manufacturing plastic bags dropped by 50 percent since 2015. Rabat – The Government Council adopted Bill 57.18  amending and modifying Law 77.15 on the ban of plastic bags on Thursday, January 3rd, 2019.
